Being a parent of children with allergies can be an extremely stressful role. It requires having eyes in the back of your head, never letting your guard down and being able to whip up a meal or snack equivalent to what every other child would be eating. In the early months and just after our diagnosis, I felt lost in the world of allergies. I had no idea how to manage it and how to ensure that Teddy didn't miss out on what other children his age were doing. I started up The Free From Mummies and soon realised that I wasn't alone and that there was a whole community of people all over the world who were going through, or had been through something similar to us.
